Thanks Sam…
For giving young people a louder voice!

There are so many things that young people feel passionate about. Like ending bullying at school. Saving our planet. Improving facilities for young people in their area. The trick is to tap into their energy and enthusiasm. And here’s how to do it. Young people’s opinions matter. They have a voice – and they can make a difference. The Youth Service, by its very nature, should always involve young people in the management and delivery of its work. In addition, all over Wales, there is another opportunity for young people to get together to take an active part in Youth Forums. Being a member of their local Youth Forum is brilliant. Not only do they get the chance to have a say in the decisions being made that affect young people, they also have a great time. They have the chance to take part in really interesting projects and activities. So go on, find out more. There’s an organisation called Funky Dragon, which is responsible for helping to set up and support Youth Forums all over Wales. Take a look at their website and see how the young people you work with can get involved!
